No Sign-ups Required
We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or a password. You do not need to create an account to explore the map or share your sky. Vesper is completely anonymous by design.
On-Demand Location Only
We do not track your location in the background. We only request your GPS coordinates at the exact moment you upload a photo, and strictly to determine where to drop the pin on the public map.
Where Your Data Lives
The images you upload are hosted securely on Cloudinary. The associated metadata—such as the capture time, the exact coordinates of the pin, and the type of sky—is stored in our fast, decentralized TiDB database.
Moderation & Deletion
Vesper is a public, shared space intended for skies, sunsets, and atmospheric moments. To keep the map beautiful and safe for everyone, administrators reserve the right to review and permanently delete any uploaded image at any time without notice.
